Leather Tooling Class: Maple Leaf

Join us at Tandy Leather for a hands-on tooling class perfect for beginners and beyond! In this class, we’ll be carving and tooling a maple leaf while learning to use a swivel knife, checkered bevel, pear shader, and leaf liner. I’ll guide you through each tool step by step, helping you build confidence and technique to create a beautifully detailed design. Whether you're brand new to leathercraft or looking to refine your skills, this class is a great way to learn, create, and have fun. All skill levels welcome—let’s make something amazing together!

Supplies needed:
Swivel Knife
Traditional checkered bevel - Multiple sizes are best, but a medium bevel will work fine
Med size pear shader, or lined pear shader
Leaf Liner
Stylus
Pencil
Optional: Snacks, drinks, lighting (head lamp), magnifying headset.
