This workshop series blends hands-on skill building with inspiring demonstrations, offering something for every leatherworker, from those just starting out to experienced crafters looking to push their creative edge.

Make and Weather your own Journal cover - Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00
Cost: $165.00

In this class, we will make a journal cover, provided by Tandy, then age it to look like its 100+ years old. We will focus on how to “tell the story” and techniques that create a natural aged look.

Concepting Your Work with Ai - Sunday from 10:00 to 1:00
Cost: $100.00 (Interactive class)

In this class, we will focus on how to use Ai to concept your work, create tooling patterns, and how it can make your leather crafting journey easier.

Adding Color to Leather (No paint. No dye) - Sunday 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Workshop Weekend

Concepting with AI (Interractive Class – Max 15 Participants – $100)
Kick off your weekend by learning how to turn rough ideas into refined, usable patterns using AI tools. This evening session focuses on practical concepting, layout planning, and creative inspiration—enhancing your work without replacing the artist’s hand.

Creating the Illusion of Age (Demo – Max 15 Participants – $100)
Make new leather look authentically aged. Learn techniques for controlled wear, color fading, distressing, and tonal layering to add rich narrative and texture to your work.

Maple Leaf – Intro to Tooling (Hands-On – Max 15 Participants – $100)
Designed for beginners or anyone refining their foundational skills. You'll cover clean swivel knife work, consistent beveling, smooth shading, and textural enhancements.
Tools Needed: Swivel knife, beveler, maul/mallet, pear shader, stylus, pencil. Optional: Leaf liner.

Airbrush 101 (Full-Day Class – Max 10 Participants – $165)
A comprehensive start-to-finish guide to airbrushing leather. Learn gear setup, cleaning, blending, shading, and layering. Supplies provided except for your mask, newsprint pad, and eagle feather. Walk away with a finished piece.
