Intermediate Leather Tooling: 3D Maple Leaf. - April 5th
IN PERSON TOOLING CLASS:
Ready to take your leather tooling to the next level? In this 3-4 hour class, we’ll build on the skills from our first session and introduce extreme lifting and embossing techniques to create a stunning 3D maple leaf. You’ll learn how to add depth and dimension, making your design look like it’s sitting right on top of the leather. While this class builds on the first session, it is not necessary to have taken the first class—all are welcome! Whether you're continuing your journey or have prior tooling experience, this hands-on session will give you the techniques and confidence to bring your leatherwork to life. Let’s create something incredible together!

Supplies needed:
Swivel Knife
Traditional checkered bevel - Multiple sizes are best, but a medium bevel will work fine
Med size pear shader. Lined pear shader optional.
Leaf Liner
Fine point stylus
Pencil
Deer foot modeling tool - this is the one that looks like it’s been cut on a 45 degree angle.
Modeling spoon
Petal lifters - various sizes.
Backgrounding stamp of your choice - subtle texture is recommended.
Optional: Snacks, drinks, lighting (head lamp), magnifying headset.
IMPORTANT: This is an in-person tooling class at the Tandy Leather Store in Fort Worth Texas. Because there are limited seats, there are no refunds for this class.
